The AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic is played around the first week of January near Dallas, Texas. Through the 2008-2009 season, the game was played at Cotton Bowl Stadium, but the 2010 Cotton Bowl will be played at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

These two teams featured two of the best quarterbacks in the game and the pairing got the attention of many fans. Sammy Baugh for TCU brought down the house and the team beat Marquette. It was the fulfillment of Sanford's dream for his New Year's game to be such an exciting contest and for it to be held in Dallas.
