New York Red Bulls is an American pro league football team. It is based in Harrison, New Jersey and competes in the MLS games. Basically, it does perfectly in the football competition from time to time. Research made it clear that this club is among the 10 best in the MLS games. Representing the New metropolitan area, it is among the founding club that started the MLS competition in 1996. Though, it has suffered many name changes. In 1997, the club was popularly called New Jersey MetroStar. Recovering a new name from 1198 to 2005 season, the club gained another name called MetroStars. Following the event that took place in 2006m the club was sold to Red Bull GmbH and that currently remain the name of the football team until now. New York Red Bulls has remained a promoting club that has given other clubs several challenges to be great.New York Red Bulls has taking part in several MLS competitions and came out with positive results that stand great. Though, they have not won any significant competition of the MLS games. There are only great team parading the platform. In 2008, the team gave a good performance by reaching the finals of MLS competition and marks the team best operation in the American league. In the US open cup, the team has been able to get to three semifinals namely in 1997, 1999 and 2000. They finally gathered momentum to get to the great final in 2003 losing 1-0 to Chicago Fire. Evere since then, they tried to keep a record in the LS games by scoring five goals in 2000. The team has well-known players in the likes of Alexi Lalas, Giovanni Savarese, Amado Guevara, Claudio Reyna, Tony Meola just to mention a few. The team is growing to see a perfect day and New York Red Bulls will rise to prominence again.
