Dudley’s first trade was with the Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks, picking up Dustin Byfuglien, Ben Eager, Brent Sopel and Akim Aliu in exchange for Jeremy Morin, Joseph Crabb, Marty Reasoner, and the Thrashers’ 1st and 2nd round picks in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. These changes should lead to a trip to the playoffs at the very least, but the Thrashers will need fan support to do it.
